Following a renovation, a 14-floor hotel had no TV service on four floors. BCS was called in to troubleshoot and restore service.
We found a combination of bad coaxial connectors, faulty splitters, and damaged cables. Our team repaired the affected connections, replaced faulty splitters, and reran damaged cable where needed.
Reaching some of the damaged cable required cutting openings in the drywall. The hotel arranged for drywall and painting trades to patch and repaint the affected areas after the cable work.
BCS completed the TV troubleshooting and cable repairs over one weekend, restoring service to the affected floors. This project shows why a TV outage can require checking the cabling and distribution components as well as the television itself.
