Simple business phones for your agricultural office

Give customers, suppliers, drivers, and staff a straightforward way to reach your business. BCS sets up VoIP desk phones, voicemail, call routing, and compatible mobile apps for farm and ranch offices.

Agricultural VoIP Phone Systems

Your farm office may only need a few reliable business phones. BCS can set up a straightforward VoIP system for calls from customers, suppliers, drivers, and staff.

  • Desk phones for offices, shops, and reception areas
  • Voicemail and simple call routing
  • Business numbers and extensions
  • Mobile calling apps on compatible systems
  • Phone and network troubleshooting

VoIP depends on internet quality and electrical power. We review the connection and discuss practical backup options. A compatible mobile app may let staff handle calls over cellular data when the office connection is unavailable, provided cellular service is available.

Plan the installation around your property

We start with the number of phones, your business numbers, where calls should ring, and what happens after hours. We check internet quality, local network connections, and power needs. VoIP requires working internet and power; cellular app fallback depends on the selected system and cellular coverage.

933 Testing: Check Your VoIP Emergency Calling Information

Ordinary calls working does not prove emergency calling is ready. On supported VoIP or SIP services, 933 provides an automated readback of the registered emergency address and phone number without reaching a 911 dispatcher. Confirm availability with your provider and check the information from each relevant device and location.

BCS recommends reviewing and retesting after installation, phone moves, number ports, and configuration changes. Also review direct 911 dialing, callback handling, emergency notifications, and power or internet backup separately: a successful 933 test does not verify every emergency function or establish compliance.

933 is for testing; call 911 for an emergency. Arrange any actual 911 test in advance through your local 911 center’s non-emergency number.
